COUNT DOWN!!

I can't believe we thought it wouldn't take long!!  5 hours later and still not done.

My girl friends Korrie and Donna have been so kind to help me out with the many little things that need to be done.  One being placing little chocolates in boxes with a number which will be sold for $20.00.   These numbers will be drawn at the end of the night for an AMAZING prize! We had a very generous donation from Master Jeweler Heinrich Schoenke & Yasmin Schoenke of a custom designed, hand crafted Platinum Pendant with a .03 carat round brilliant cut diamond on bezel setting mounted on 18 mm quartz crystal Donut made especially for this night.  It's valued at $700.00  It's very stunning I must say!


Also Sara Berthiaume has been working so hard in organizing the silent auction for us.  This has taken a lot of stress off Steve and my shoulders.  I can't thank her enough for coming forward and offering her help in that area.


Thanks to all our friends and family that have helped in selling the tickets.  We are almost sold out!!

A summer visit from a close friend turned into a dream that my husband and I could not have imagined if it wasn't from our friend Shawn Todd.

From a discussion over the kitchen Island turned into an amazing event that took place Sunday September 6th. Shawn along with many close friends turned an amazing event to a night that will never be forgotten. With our friends hard work they were able to find many local businesses that donated food, beverages, a place to hold the venue, entertainment for the night and silent auction items.

Because of many loving people, some who knew us quite well to some who have never met us before, we were able to raise a mouth dropping $9000.00 !!! Saying the words "thank you" just does not seem enough. We are extremely grateful for the love, support and prayer that has been offered to our family.

Steve and I would also like to thank all the people that helped out that night during the party. A big thanks goes out to Shawn Todd, Brian Adams, Shannon Thibault, Steve & Shari Lyn Lawson, Doreen Todd, Jen Groulx, Gerry Brule, Mike Lawson, Steve Kipp, Paul Todd, Mark Tereschuk, Ken Sharpe, Kevin Ziegler, Ivor Bailey, Gloria Todd, Melany Peters, The Band - Dean Rodd, Ian Roberts, John Tennant & Carlo Morigno and Don Healy for donated the farm for the night.  There were also 20 Corporate sponsors who donated that night!!!  Without their help, this night would have never happened.  Thanks again!
